The project involves capping approximately 90 000 m² of the Landfill at Kinsale Road, Cork as required under the waste licence of the facility. The work will take place in 2no capping phases in 2010 and 2011. The works will include all permanent and temporary works associated with the following: — gas collection system, — fully welded LLDPE geomembrane, — subsurface drainage system, — soil layer, — topsoiling and landscaping, — chambers and ducting, — ancillary works.
