The proposed development comprises a new utility and office building with an ancillary yard area at a site off Ballyogan Road, Ballyogan, County Dublin. The proposed site is to be accessed off the Ballyogan Road and is approximately 2,4 hectares in area. Both buildings and the ancillary yard are to provide a combined facility for Council departments involved in the role of maintenance and environmental services. The proposed yard will be mainly used to park vehicles associated with the maintenance department, it will also function as a material storage and disposal facility. The proposed 3-storey administration building will house the environmental department and aims to use passive energy sources and to be a naturally ventilated work environment. The utility building for the most part is a high bay single story storage space for items associated with the maintenance department of the local Authority.
