Iarnrod Eireann–Irish Rail

Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Passenger tickets. A mixed range of approximately 12 000 000 printed tickets are used per annum across over 40 different ticket types. Magnetically encoded tickets are used with IE’s ticketing equipment (Crouzet validators, Sheidt & Bachman Ticket Vending Machines and access barrier equipment). In addition printed unencoded seat reservation tickets, contract tickets and annual card tickets form part of the requirement. The majority of the tickets are encoded.
