Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Request for A Training Provider to Deliver Food Safety Training to the Chinese Food Sector. The food safety authority of Ireland is seeking to employ the services of a translation agency or training provider to assist in the delivery of a food safety training programme for management in the Chinese Food Sector. The food safety authority of Ireland is a statutory, independent science based body and our mission is to protect consumers' health and consumers' interests by ensuring that food consumed, distributed and marketed in Ireland meets the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. The food safety training programme to be delivered has been designed and developed to: - encourage and support managers/proprietors of Chinese food outlets implement the training in their premises; - promote the application of learning in the workplace. The successful translation agency or training provider will be responsible for delivering the pre-designed food safety training programme in accordance with demand in Chinese. (There may be a requirement to deliver the programme in Vietnamese however it is unlikely to be more than 3 premises per year.) The successful translation agency/training provider will initially be for a twelve month term, with an option for the food safety authority of Ireland, on an annual basis, to extend the term for four additional years, subject to satisfactory review at the end of each year.
