Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: NRA Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Equipment Maintenance. The National Roads Authority invites tenders from Contractors to provide maintenance services for ITS Equipment on National Roads; and also to undertake related general works when requested. The maintenance and general works may include, but are not limited to the following activities: - provide maintenance and management services for designated ITS equipment - repair and replace faulty ITS equipment providing a Fault Tracking and Reporting System - provide a planned maintenance programme for ITS equipment - store and maintain an inventory of Authority owned spare equipment; repair and replace the equipment spares so as to maintain the spare equipment inventory - provide on-site testing and calibration services to ensure correct operation of equipment - provide an Asset Inventory System with maintenance history for all equipment and contract management reporting - undertake general works including replacement of defective emergency roadside telephones, installation of road loops, chambers, cabinets, small poles etc. when requested by the Authority Work is expected to commence on site in July 2006.
