The key aims of the project are: โข To increase visitor knowledge and understanding of the Battle of the Boyne, its historical and social context, and its outcomes, โข To intrigue and engage visitors in a hands-on and immersive experience on the Battle of the Boyne, delivered in an engaging and inclusive environment that is welcoming for visitors from all backgrounds and traditions, โข To enhance general understanding of the Battle of the Boyne and its significance in a way that supports the reconciliation objectives of the Shared Island Initiative , โข To fit within and around the existing structures in the Farmyard Complex in a way which does not significantly visibly intrude on the appeal of the built heritage Full list of requirements are contained in the tender documents.
