The Defence Forces, Ireland have a requirement for a Lightweight Air supported Tentage System appropriate for use as temporary accommodation with Initial Entry Forces, SOF, Advance Parties to Mission areas and Formations that require a lightweight logistical footprint that are expeditionary in nature. Air supported systems with an integrated inflatable collar system to provide rigidity of shape will be strongly considered where simplicity and speed of erection and striking will be assessed as desirable attributes. The proposed system should nominally accommodate eight personnel and should possess a vertex height of approximately 3m. These tents should be fit for purpose and offer protection from environmental and extreme climatic effects to reflect a range of possible deployments in various climatic extremes. This competition will establish a framework agreement for 3 years with an option to extend for a 4 year if required by the contracting authority. A Restricted procedure will be used where expressions of interest will initially be invited and successful candidates will be placed on a list and invited to formally Tender and provide samples for evaluation.
