Munster Technological University is seeking tenders from competent providers for the supply and delivery of Electrical Consumables to MTU Cork and MTU Kerry. This framework will cover the requirements of various departments across both campuses. This framework is predominately for the Apprenticeship Programme, however, other departments and areas across MTU reserve the right avail of same. Departments such as but not limited to the School of Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineering, School of Science Technology Engineering and Maths, IMAR, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration Apprenticeship, Electrical Apprenticeship, Plumbing Apprenticeship and / or any future Apprenticeship / Programmes etc that may come on stream over the lifetime of this framework. The Electrical Apprenticeship programmes at both the Cork and Kerry campuses of Munster Technological University cater to both Phase 4 and Phase 6 Apprentices. Practical subjects within the programme require students to demonstrate skills in understanding, wiring and completing heating systems, motors controls, distribution boards, PLC systems etc. In order to successfully run, the programme requires a consistent supply of good quality and fit for purpose consumables along with necessary replacement components for the existing equipment on site at MTU Cork and Kerry when necessary. A suitable supplier will not only need to reliably supply large quantities of consumables at a competitive price when requested but also be able to deliver to campus on time and at short notice on occasion.
