Telephony Upgrade November 2010. The Department of Health is looking to upgrade their current telephony PBX to overcome an aging infrastructure that is no longer supportable and requires an upgrade to deliver on the benefits of a modern communications system. Hawkins House contains approximately 490 personnel working in varied functions. The scope of this tender is for the upgrade of the current telephony infrastructure. While IP telephony & unified communications are a consideration, the initial requirement is to support the upgrade of the core system while retaining existing investment in handsets. The Department invites tenders for the Design, Supply, Delivery, Installation, Commissioning and Support of a telephony system.
