NW 3436 design & supply of GSM-R network infrastructure for Iarnrod Eireann. Iarnrod Eireann is seeking to procure a GSM-R radio system for the rail network. The initial scope of this project will be to implement GSM-R over the DART area (Dublin Area Rapid Transit), fit cab mobiles to the EMU fleet and provide GSM-R handportables. It is proposed in the future to extend the GSM-R infrastructure to other lines. The scope of this tender will be a framework contract which will cover: 1. The design, supply, installation, test and commissioning of the infrastructure for a GSM-R network covering the DART area together with liability for integration of cab mobiles and handportables with the GSM-R system. The possible future extension of the GSM-R network to other lines.
