Tenders are invited for the supply and delivery to Public Lighting Stores of High Intensity Discharge Lamps, Low Pressure Sodium (SOX), High Pressure Sodium (SON), CDOTT & Cosmopolis Functional Street Lighting Luminaires and Decorative Street Lighting Luminaires. It is the intention of Dublin City Council to award a framework agreement with 4 lots: Lot 1 as a multi-supplier framework with at least 3 suppliers for High Intensity Discharge Lamps; Lot 2 as a multi-supplier framework with at least 3 suppliers for Functional Street Lighting Luminaires (SOX); Lot 3 as a multi-supplier framework with at least 3 suppliers for Functional Street Lighting Luminaires (SON, CDOTT & Cosmopolis), and Lot 4 as a multi-supplier framework with at least 3 suppliers for Decorative Street Lighting Luminaires. Dublin City Council proposes to place a minimum of 3 suppliers on the framework agreement for each of the 4 lots provided there is a sufficient number of qualified candidates for each lot. Delivery arrangements, order quantities and frequency of deliveries will be agreed with the successful tenderer, while candidates for the tender list are invited to advise on the norms associated with their company. Dublin City Council is using the restricted procedure for this contract. This means that only companies who demonstrate their competence by responding to the information requirements under financial/economic capacity and technical/professional ability, as outlined in the Conditions for Participation Section (III.2) of this notice will be considered for inclusion on the tender list.
