Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Supply & delivery of Pilot Scale Bioreactors for new Research and Training Facility. The contract comprises the supply, delivery and commissioning of two (2) 150 ltr (nominal volume) and one (1) 30 ltr (nominal volume) bioreactor skids. At a minimum, the units shall comprise the following: 1. Wetted parts shall be fabricated from 316L stainless steel. The design pressure of the Bioreactor skids shall range from Full vacuum (-1 barg) to +3 barg (as a minimum). The design temperature of the Bioreactor skids shall range from 0 degrees centigrade to +150 degrees centigrade. Bioreactors must be fully jacketed and insulated. Each bioreactor skid to include a temperature control system. Bioreactors to include agitators. Bioreactor skids to include all appropriate valves. Bioreactor skids to include all necessary filter housings. Bioreactor skids to include any necessary safety devices. Bioreactor skids to include all necessary instrumentation. Each Bioreactor skid shall have a stand-alone control system, and all associated wiring. Bioreactor skids and control systems to be designed to facilitate fully automatic operation, including automated Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP). Interconnecting pipework within each bioreactor skid is included in the scope of supply. Interconnecting pipework between the bioreactor skids may be included in the scope of supply.
