Fáilte Ireland is the National Tourism Development Authority, established by the Irish Government in May 2003 to guide and promote the development of tourism as a leading indigenous component of the Irish economy. To this end, Fáilte Ireland, working in partnership with the tourism industry, provides an extensive range of support services and business solutions designed specifically to develop and sustain Ireland as a high-quality and competitive tourism destination. Our vision for Irish tourism is that of a dynamic, innovative, sustainable and highly regarded sector offering international and domestic visitors a positive and memorable experience beyond their expectations. There are approximately 430 people employed by Failte Ireland, 205 of these are based in the Dublin offices. Fáilte Ireland have three principal areas of operation: We help to develop product offerings for both the domestic and overseas markets and lead the marketing effort to promote Irish holidays to the domestic consumer. We support enterprise development in Irish tourism, promoting best practice in operations, quality and standards and facilitating investment in tourism infrastructure. We build human resource capability in the industry, investing heavily in training provision and standards across the publicly supported educational system, through our own training network of outreach centres and also, increasingly, via our executive and management development programmes for the tourism industry. This is a contract for the supply of LOT 1) Stationery Products and Furniture Items and LOT 2) Print Consumables & Associated Products to various Fáilte Ireland locations around the country.
