Proposals are sought for the design of two major art exhibitions, to take place consecutively in 2010 in the Chester Beatty Library’s First Floor Exhibition Galleries. a loan exhibition of 38 paintings, Telling Images of China – Narrative and Figure Paintings, 15th-20th Century, from the Shanghai Museum; and an exhibition of 72 Indian miniatures from the Library’s collection, entitled Muraqqa’: Imperial Mughal Albums from the Chester Beatty Library, which will be returning to Dublin following its showing in venues in the United States (2008-2009).
