Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Emergency Place of Safety Service. The Health Service Executive (HSE) wishes to invite suitably qualified service providers to put in place an emergency place of safety for children out of hours; through the provision of 10 strategically situated places of safety with assessed carers which Gardai can access out of hours through one national point of contact i.e. the service provider. Overall the aim is to ensure that children presenting as ‘at risk’ outside of normal working hours are provided with an appropriate place of safety on an emergency basis, pending resumption of social work service in normal office hours.
