Health Service Executive
Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: High Support Treatment Foster Care Service. The Health Service Executive is seeking to establish a Treatment Foster Care Service in the Dublin Mid Leinster Area of Laois/Offaly and Longford/Westmeath. This service is to provide for young people (12 to17 years) deemed the most challenging in terms of their current behaviours and past histories. This service is being established on a national pilot basis for a three year period subject to review at the end of the second year. The value of the contract will be in the order of 1.2million EUR per annum. The service will provide three carers at the end of year one and ten carers at the end of year three. The successful candidate will be required to implement the Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care Model developed by the Oregon Social Learning Centre.
