Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: M7 Portlaoise to Castletown/M8 Portlaoise to Cullahill. Tenders are invited from competent Civil Engineering contractors to perform site clearance and fencing works in accordance with contract documents prepared by Arup Consulting Engineers, 10 Wellington Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. The site clearance and fencing works are to be carried out along the proposed M7 Portlaoise to Castletown/M8 Portlaoise to Cullahill and on the line of all link roads and minor roads. Site clearance shall involve the removal of hedgerows, bushes and trees to ground level to prevent birds nesting along the proposed route in advance of road construction. Hedgerows, bushes and trees shall be cleared as detailed in the specification and replaced with fencing, where required.
