Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Signage manufacturing, nationwide removal, installation and maintenance project. An Post National Lottery Company is licenced to operate the National Lottery by the Minister for Finance on the Minister's behalf in accordance with the National Lottery Act 1986. The National Lottery now wish to award a contract for the manufacture of illuminated and non-illuminated National Lottery external projecting signs comprising of remodelling and re-casing approximately thirty per cent of current National Lottery signage and replacing all others; circa 2 500 sites in total nationwide. The new signs will consist of two designs with up to four variations. Designs may have raised metal lettering with side illumination and special effect LED lighting or metallic finish. The contract will also include the nationwide removal of current signage, installation of new casings and new signage along with on-going nationwide installations and maintenance of National Lottery signage in compliance with local Irish County Council or Local Authority regulations. The on site programme of initial signage installations is likely to take place between January and October 2008. Due to the scale of this contract the National Lottery welcomes joint applications from manufacturers and installation/maintenance firms. The National Lottery will use the Restricted Procedure for the award of this contract and now invites Expressions of Interest for the contract. Interested parties are asked to respond by providing the information as requested at III.2.2 and III.2.3 below which is in the form of a qualification questionnaire available to download from www.etenders.gov.ie. Following evaluation of the responses the National Lottery will short-list a minimum of five suppliers (provided there is at least this number who meet the qualification criteria) and will issue these short-listed firms with tender documents and invite them to tender. Those firms reaching the final stage will be required to reproduce and submit a sample sign or signs as part of the tender response. The National Lottery reserves the right to appoint more than one supplier.
