Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Edenderry Sewerage and Water Supply Improvement Scheme - Advance Works - Civil Works. This contract provides for the construction over a period of 6 months and maintenance for a further period of 12 months (maintenance of pipeline only) of the following civil works: A. Construction of the following approximate lengths of foul sewer in several sections in common trenches with water mains as appropriate and shown on the drawings: - 77 linear metres of 225 mm diameter foul sewer, - 513 linear metres of 375 mm diameter foul sewer, - 519 linear metres of 450 mm diameter foul sewer, - 368 linear metres of 525 mm diameter foul sewer. B. Construction of the following approximate lengths of water mains complete with bends, valves, valve chambers, thrust blocks and ancillary fittings in common trenches for foul and storm sewer as appropriate and shown on the drawings: - Construction of approximately 1 084 linear metres of 300 mm diameter watermain. C. Construction of the following approximate quantities of miscellaneous works: - Gulleys, hydrants, sewer connections all as shown in the drawings, - Temporary and permanent road and verge reinstatement of disturbed surfaces.
