The Irish Environmental Protection Agency schedule for the submission of applications for licences for discharges from wastewater treatment plants requires Cork County Council to submit three tranches of applications - approximately 18 applications before 28.2.2009, 35 applications by June 2009 and 82 applications in 2010. Cork County Council intends to have these applications prepared by contracts awarded to consulting engineers who have been admitted to a Framework Agreement. It is intended that each of the three tranches of applications will be divided into 4 or 5 groups of towns. It is intended that all of candidates admitted to the Framework Agreement will be invited to tender for each group of towns. No candidate will be awarded more than one group of towns in each tranche.
