Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) was established by the Irish Government under the Horse and Greyhound Racing Act 2001. It is a commercial semi-state body which took over the functions previously carried out by the Irish Horse Racing Authority. HRI is responsible for the administration and control of Horse Racing in Ireland. HRI subsidiaries include Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Ltd (ITM), Tote Ireland Ltd and the HRI Racecourse Division (Leopardstown, Navan, Tipperary, Fairyhouse). HRI is now seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates for the provision of Security Services for the HRI Group. Requirements will be divided into 2 lots : Lot 1 Security Guarding Services Lot 2 Protected Forms of Transit. Requirements in relation to HRI owned/leased premises and buildings and HRI owned racecourses including raceday security as required (up to 300 fixtures per year). Cash in transit requirements and secure holding facilities for Tote Ireland at every racecourse in Ireland throughout the racing calendar (up to 300 fixtures per year, occasionally two race meetings per day), this extends to non-race days as required. HRI racecourses will also require this facility on race-days. Candidates may apply for one (1) or both lots.
