Security services. The Port of Cork Company wishes to award security services at its facilities in Cork. The locations which need to be covered include: (a) Harbour Office, Custom House Street and its environs; (b) City Quays - North Quays from Water Street to Railway Street and South Jetties, South Deepwater Quay and Albert Quay and their environs; (c) Tivoli Industrial and Dock Estate including Millennium Gardens and moored POCC floating plant alongside jetty; (d) Sean Lemass Terminal (Deepwater Berth), Ringaskiddy, excluding private installations; (e) Ferry Terminal and freight compound, Ringaskiddy and environs; (f) Deepwater Quay, Cobh, including moored floating plant alongside jetty. The services involve a combination of manned security guard services on a 24/7 basis; night patrols; CCTV, access control and ANPR (automatic Number Plate recognition) monitoring; operating control barriers; monitoring and carrying out searches of passengers and vehicles transiting the Ringaskiddy Ferry Terminal in addition to ensuring that all camera and recording systems are operational at all times. Electronic fault reporting system to be set up to track faults until equipment is back in full operation.
