Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Tender for the Provision of Park Warden Service. The primary objective of the Warden Service will be to ensure as far as practical the public enjoyment of parks and open spaces by eliminating anti-social and unacceptable behaviour from these areas and by encouraging local community involvement in all appropriate park activities. The required Warden Service shall operate 7 days per week all year round. It shall be a uniformed, mobile service with appropriate communications which will integrate with existing Dublin City Council staff and services to ensure as far as possible the safe and secure enjoyment by the public of municipal parks, open spaces and amenity areas. There are approximately 120 major parks and open spaces within Dublin City Councilโs Administrative Area.
