Atlantic Technological University seeks tenders from suppliers for the establishment of a single operator framework agreement and to award a heat supply contract including operation and maintenance of a wood chip biomass heating plant at ATU Campus, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. The Heat Supplier will operate and maintain the biomass heating plant as well as manage and supply all the fuel requirements. The biomass heating plant will provide heat to 80 per cent of the main building (17,000m2). Additional buildings may be heated by the plant via an extension to the district heating network at a later stage.
