Iarnrod Eireann has a requirement for a contract for OHLE (Overhead line equipment) services. The services required are to provide competent and experienced OHLE personnel suitably equipped to assist IE in carrying out OHLE maintenance and renewal programmes on the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transport). The DART is a 1,500Vdc Overhead Line Catenary System with traction return path through the track. It comprises some 45Kms of double track, 10Kms of single track and necessary stabling sidings in the Dublin area. The total length of contact wire is approximately 130Kms. Iarnrod Eireann reserves the right to award to more than one contractor and contract may be awarded in separate work packages.
