The Corrib natural gas field is being developed as a subsea tie back to an onshore processing facility. The gas will be piped ashore from the offshore wells to a gas processing terminal at Bellanaboy Bridge, Co. Mayo, West of Ireland, where it will be processed before it enters the Bord Gáis Éireann national network. The field will provide up to 60 % of Irelands gas needs at peak supply. Shell E&P Ireland Ltd (‘Shell’), as operator, has a requirement for Valve Services throughout the operational phase of the terminal. These Valve Services shall include but not be limited to the provision of: Onsite and offsite valve overhaul maintenance and provision of resources necessary for execution of maintenance to include, but not limited to; Shot Blasting of valve bodies Strip and inspect. Replacement of worn or damaged components. Lapping of valve seats. Reassembly with new body gaskets and packing assemblies.Repainting of valve. + Provision of valve testing and certification. + Provision of a system to monitor / track repair work in progress. Valve types include but not be limited to; ESD/PSD valves Ball valves · Gate valves Globe valves Butterfly (including triple offset) valves Relief (PSV) Check Valves.
