Bus Eireann/Irish Bus
Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Independent Final Inspection of Seatbelts in Buses. Bus Eireann wishes to establish a framework agreement with a number of economic operators for a 4 year period for final inspection of installed seatbelts. The framework agreement will be for an Independent final Inspection of installed seatbelts in large buses and mini buses. The final inspection should include a certificate of quality if the seat belt passes the inspection. Service providers should also take into account that there may be additional services required throughout the lifespan of the Framework Agreement. The estimated overall total number of buses to be catered for by the framework will be in the region of 3 000 buses, although no guarantee as to the precise number can be given at this stage. The initial contract comprising of the total number, will be awarded at the earliest opportunity.The initial contract may be shared out between two or more framework members if appropriate.
