Bus Eireann/Irish Bus
Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Pull Test Seat Belt Service for Buses. Bus Eireann wishes to establish a framework agreement with a number of economic operators for a 4 year period. The framework agreement will be for a pull test service of seatbelts in large buses and mini buses of approximately 300 different types. The pull test service will provide a certificate of quality where the seat belt passes the pull test. Service providers should take into consideration that there may be a requirement for more than one pull test for each vehicle depending on the seat type. Although the estimated overall total number of bus types to be catered for will be in the region of 300, no guarantee as to the precise number can be given at this stage. The initial contract comprising a proportion of the total number, will be awarded at the earliest opportunity. This initial contract may be shared out between two or more framework members if appropriate.
