Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Appointment to a Framework for Provision of Real Estate Valuation Services to NAMA. On the direction of the Minister for Finance, the NTMA wishes to retain real estate valuation services (the “Services”) for NAMA. The NTMA is seeking to appoint a panel of suitably qualified and experienced real estate valuers pursuant to a Framework Agreement. It is expected that the Framework Agreement will, unless terminated earlier, have a term of four (4) years. It is envisaged that the composition of the Framework will be as follows: Region Maximum Number of Firms. Ireland (national coverage) 5. Connaught 5. Leinster and Dublin 5. Munster 5. Ulster 5. Great Britain 5. USA (coverage in major cities) 5. It is anticipated that Services will be required from October 2009 and will continue. (a) throughout the process of asset acquisition by NAMA which will continue until at least June 2010 and (b) thereafter as required by NAMA Appointment to the Framework does not constitute a commitment or guarantee by NTMA or NAMA to procure the Services from any Framework member. It is not possible to quantify or estimate in advance the volume or the frequency of valuation work that will be required.
