Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Auctioneering Services. Limerick County Council proposes to establish a framework agreement for auctioneering services for its full administrative area. Up to 3 tenderers will be admitted to the framework, which will be established for 4 years. The framework agreement will operate as follows: Following on from the evaluation of expressions of interest received in response to this notice, tenders will be invited from at least 5 candidates. Based on the tenders received, it is anticipated that 3 tenderers will be admitted to the framework, with the initial contract being awarded to the tenderer submitting the most economically advantageous tender. Thereafter, as and when additional requirements arise, the most economically advantageous tenderer within the framework will be appointed either on the basis of their original offer or following mini tenders, at the discretion of the authority. In all cases the original award criteria will be applied. Admission into the framework agreement will be subject strictly to the tenderers' full and unequivocal acceptance of the contracting authority's terms and conditions of contract as issued with the tender documents for the initial contract.
