Iarnrod Eireann–Irish Rail
Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Supply, Operation & Maintenance of Rail Mounted Track Machines. In order to make use of current technologies and best international practices, Iarnród Éireann - Irish Rail will be inviting expressions of interest for the Supply, Operation and Maintenance of Rail Mounted Track Maintenance Machines which may include the following: 1. Tamping machines P&C and plain line 2. DTS machines 3. Sleeper changing machine 4. Adhesion application 5. Track recording vehicle 6. Regulators 7. Ballast cleaning system 8. Other track maintenance and renewal machines. Projects and work packages may include various mainteance and renewal projects througout the Iarnród Éireann network. There may also be a requirement to operate and maintain current Iarnród Éireann on track machines for use on specified projects. The appropriate safety case will be an intergal part of an contractual arrangement.
