Mk4 Ride comfort modifications. Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) have procured a modern fleet of 67 passenger coaches that currently operate on an Intercity service between Dublin and Cork. The fleet is approximately 4 years old and the ride comfort of the vehicles requires improvement. Recognising that this is a potentially complex issue, expressions of interest are invited from companies interested in bidding for a turn-key project to rectify the ride comfort on the fleet to an agreed performance level.
