Iarnrod Eireann–Irish Rail
Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Kilbarry Commuter Station - Cork. Iarnród Éireann requires a Contractor to construct all works on site as listed below (except for track construction, mainline connections, and telecommunications & signalling equipment). Works at Kilbarry Station will involve but not limited to the undermentioned. Site Clearance Earthworks Drainage including petrol interceptor. Car park approx. 100 spaces. Car park lighting and CCTV. Fencing and gates Two 90m long platforms and Public Address system. Four lifts A pedestrian footbridge with stairs on the platforms. A link pedestrian footbridge to the second access way lift-shaft. Telecoms equipment building. Platform Shelters Bicycle Shelters Landscaping Signalisation of two traffic junctions and associated road works. New Permanent Way and Signalling work will be installed by IE.
