Provision of communications services to Discover Science & Engineering Programme. Forfás invites expressions of interest for the provision of communications services exclusively to the Discover Science & Engineering Programme. Discover Science & Engineering (DSE) is managed by Forfás on behalf of the Office of Science & Technology at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Innovation. DSE aims to increase interest in science, technology, innovation and engineering among students, teachers and members of the public. The current annual budget for Discover Science & Engineering is c. Forfás will establish a multi-operator framework agreement to deliver DSE's Communication requirements over 3 years (February 2011 to January 2014). The service provider will be required to conceive, manage and deliver a comprehensive range of communications services in support of Discover Science & Engineering's nationally integrated awareness activities including, in particular, its focus on young people in terms of messaging and use of media. The programme should take advantage of new media including internet, gaming, podcasting etc. The programme will be delivered both nationally and regionally. The initial contract to be awarded under this Framework Agreement will be for all Communication requirements for 12 months from February 2011.
