Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Multi-supplier framework agreement for provision of printing services. Dublin City Council advertised on the 19.9.2008 for tenders for the provision of print management services. On the 14.9.2009 a contract was signed with the successful tenderer. A requirement of that contract was that the successful tenderer would put in place a framework agreement for the print services. Expressions of interest are now invited to participate in a restricted tendering procedure for print production and finishing services up to 14.9.2012 with an option to extend by a further year subject to annual and other periodic reviews. Dublin City Council has appointed an Authorised Agent to manage the ongoing procurement procedure for this contract. The framework will comprise of 2 lots for services as follows: Lot 1: Printing and finishing services sheet fed offset; Lot 2: Printing and finishing services digital printing. Dublin City Council is using the restricted procedure for this contract. This means that only companies who demonstrate their competence by responding to the information requirements under financial/economic capacity and technical/professional ability, as outlined in the conditions for participation section (III.2) of this notice will be considered for inclusion on the tender list.
