Personal Computers & Associated Equipment. Candidates must complete a supplier pre-qualification questionnaire and provide: details and dates of recent major installations along with site references and contact names. Independent endorsement of product(s) which they wish to supply. Details of the company on-site servicing and maintenance capability, including response times. Where the Institute is not familiar with a prospective supplier's hardware, that supplier may be asked to supply a demonstration machine on short-term loan for testing by the Institute. The cost of supply and return to be borne by the supplier. Authorised retailers may only supply tenders for a maximum of two separate brand names (i.e. manufacturer X and manufacturer Y). The maximum number of suppliers who will be invited to tender will be seven. The Institute will use the shortlist of suppliers for tenders, (small lots will be by quotation) for supplies for up to 60 months at the discretion of the Institute after the shortlist is activated. Only fully completed pre-qualification questionnaires, accompanied by the appropriate documentary evidence requested will be accepted by the contracting authority.
