Career average revalued earning pension scheme administration. ESB currently operates a Defined Benefit (Final Salary) Pension Scheme and members have recently agreed to implement a Career Average Revalued Earnings (CARE) arrangement for future service from 1.1.2012. As part of this change ESB is looking at options for best practice pension administration to implement this change. ESB is looking for a company with a proven track record who can supply any or all of the following options: (1) an administration system with proven capabilities to deal with a CARE pension arrangement and the relevant supports including staff training; (2) a full out source administration arrangement, in relation to member records, processing and dealing with all member queries etc; (3) as (2) above as a Co-source model with the option for specific queries to retained in-house by ESB Pension Office; (4) other solutions that may be suggested by the tenderer.
