Iarnród Éireann - Irish Rail which is the national rail service operator in Ireland is seeking expressions of interest from candidates to provide a system of selective door enabling which can be fitted to the power operated door systems on existing rolling stock. The system will allow selective door operation at locations throughout the network (infrastructure). up to 234 DMU vehicles of the same class / build type. Excess 100 Platforms. This tender will be divided into: 1) Design, Supply and provide technical assistance of equipment only 2) Design, Supply, install and commission all equipment As this is a safety critical system the successful tenderer must also provide any assistance necessary, to certify this system with all relevant bodies.
