Iarnród Éireann - Irish Rail which is the national rail service operator in Ireland is seeking expressions of interest from candidates to provide a railway proven system for vehicle tracking which can be fitted to passenger carrying rolling stock of the existing fleet. New fleets may also be fitted with this system. The system will allow IÉ to track rolling stock movements to key locations on the network (infrastructure) e.g. lathes, washes, depots, sidings at which cleaning services are carried out. approximately 325 units made up of one or more vehicles. Undefined number of locations but thought to be approximately 50. This tender will be divided into: 1) Design, Supply and provide technical assistance of equipment only; 2) Design, Supply, install and commission all equipment.
