Enforcing paid parking and other parking restrictions on public roads (including footpaths and grass verges) and in public off-street car parks owned by or in charge of the council. The main services to be provided include identifying and ticketing illegally parked vehicles, relocating and/or clamping/declamping illegally parked vehicles in certain circumstances. A number of ancillary support services are also required including collecting and retaining evidence in relation to illegally parked vehicles, payment management and monitoring, customer service, appeals and court prosecution support services, reporting on deficiencies in signage, road markings and faulty pay & display ticket machines, and various IT and management/reporting services.
