Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of two Peaking Plants – Rhode, Co. Offaly and Tawnaghmore, Co. Mayo. Endesa Ireland wishes to invite expressions of interest for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Contract for plant and site management at its two peaking plants, Rhode, Co. Offaly and Tawnaghmore, Co. Mayo. The contract duration will be 24 months. The sites are regulated by the EPA under IPPCL (Tawnaghmore - PO566-02, Rhode - P0694-01). Both sites are Lower Tier Seveso due to distillate quantities stored on each site (2,550 tonne). Endesa Ireland is in the process of getting these sites accredited for EMS 14001 and OHSAS 18001. The gas turbines will be remotely operated from Tarbert Generating Site, Tarbert Co. Kerry from July 2010.
