Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Tender for Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (PPCE). South Dublin County Council invites tenders from interested parties for the supply of a range of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment subject to the satisfactory performance of the contract from 1.2.2007-31.12.2008. Suppliers are requested to submit their prices for each item on the tender specification exclusive of VAT. Council will then request samples of each item from short listed companies. Together with other awarding criteria listed below a decision will then be made to identify the successful tender. The approximate value of the contract: 300 000 EUR Tender(s) will be awarded based on the following: Financial and Technical skills and experience of tendering company 5%; Most economically advantageous to the Council 65%; Fitness for the purpose of each product 25%; Receipt of Guarantee to comply with Council requirements regarding measuring, fitting and supply of products 5%.
