Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Establishment of Framework Agreements Data Center Switches. The Client proposes to establish three multi-operator Framework Agreements for the provision of Data Centre Switches. Each Framework Agreement will have duration of 4 years and contracts may be awarded at any time during the framework period. Tenderers may apply for one or more lot(s) and are required to indicate for which lot(s) they are applying. Tenderers are requested to provide a comprehensive response for each of the lot(s) they are applying as each lot will be evaluated separately and will establish its own framework. The establishment of a Framework Agreement and award of initial contract for 2 Data Centre Switches with a minimum unreserved slot capacity of 3 slots per chassis, — Lot 2: The establishment of a Framework Agreement and award of initial contract for 2 Data Centre Switches with a minimum unreserved slot capacity of 5 slots per chassis. These frameworks are open to vendors who can supply equipment to the required specification in any or all Lots. The establishment of these frameworks is to meet HEAnet's overall goal in providing resillence for HEAnet services for it's clients. HEAnet will be main user of these frameworks, however. These frameworks are voluntarily open for use by HEAnet's Clients.
