Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Establishment of Framework Agreements for Routers. The Client proposes to establish three multi-operator Framework Agreements for the provision of Client Premises Equipment (Routers). Each Framework Agreement will have duration of 4 years and contracts may be awarded at any time during the framework period. Tenderers may apply for one or more lot(s) and are required to indicate for which lot(s) they are applying. Tenderers are requested to provide a comprehensive response for each of the lot(s) they are applying as each lot will be evaluated separately and will establish its own framework. The establishment of a Framework Agreement for routers with a minimum 100Mbit/s throughput with 64 byte packets). Sample contract for 10 routers for evaluation purposes, but not for award, — Lot 2: The establishment of a Framework Agreement and award of initial contract for up to 20 routers with a minimum 1Gbit/s throughput with 64 byte packets, — Lot 3: The establishment of a Framework Agreement and award of initial contract for up to 5 routers with a minimum 10Gbit/s or more interface throughput with 64 byte packets. These frameworks are open to vendors who can supply equipment to the required specification in any or all Lots. The establishment of these frameworks is to meet HEnets overall goal in provideing IP resillence for heanet and it's clients. HEanet will be main user of these frameworks, however. These frameworks are voluntarily open for use by Heanets Clients.
