Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Fire Suppression Systems for Buses. Bus Atha Cliath/Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann/Irish Bus jointly invite submissions from parties interested in being considered for inclusion on a tender list to compete for a contract for the supply and installation of automatic fire suppression systems for buses. The systems envisaged ,which will be fully automatic, will be capable of fire detection and the automatic deployment of fire suppression material without any intervention on the part of bus drivers. The systems will be installed in the engine compartment of the vehicles. A variety of road passenger service vehicle types are involved.
