Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Visibility Sensor with Present Weather Sensor Option. Met Éireann invites tenders for the supply of visibility sensors for deployment as part of an AWS in our synoptic station network. Some of these synoptic stations may be located at airport sites, in which case the visibility / present weather combination is expected to be installed at the main meteorological enclosure. As part of this tender process, an option for a present weather / precipitation identifier sensor may be provided. Present Weather codes output from any such sensor shall be compatible with WMO SYNOP Code Table 4680 (Present Weather reported from an automatic weather station). Tenders can be submitted for.
