AMNCH, which opened in 1998, is a 620 bed hospital which was formed through an amalgamation of three hospitals, Meath, Adelaide and National Childrenโs hospitals. The hospital is a teaching hospital associated with the Faculty of Health Sciences, Trinity College, Dublin, Eastern Health Board, Department of Health and Trinity College, Dublin. The Hospital serves as a primary referral centre for the immediate catchment area, i.e. South West Dublin, North Kildare and West Wicklow, with a population of approximately 560,000 and also accepts secondary and tertiary referral form the county and regional hospitals. AMNCH invites Tenders for the Manufacture, Supply, Placement / Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance (as and if required) of. Lot 1 โ Infusion Pumps & Lot 2 - Syringe Drivers Reference Noโs: TAL2009BD075. The Objective of this project is to appoint a Tenderer/s who has a clear proven ability in the field of manufacture, supply, placement / installation, commissioning and maintenance of Medical Equipment Infusion Pumps and Syringe Drivers. The successful Tenderer(s) must meet our requirements as outlined in Section 3 - Particular Performance Specifications Relating to Items of Equipment. The infusion pump is intended to deliver a wide range of therapeutic fluids. Accuracy of infusion rate is critical and you should state the accuracy of any model proposed in your reply. The syringe pump shall be used to deliver a wide range of therapeutic fluids where small volumes and low flow rates are required. Their use shall be indicated when delivering small critical volumes of medications and in general fluid delivery in some neonatal and paediatric patients. They shall also of use when treating ambulatory patients. AMNCH intends to purchase approximately 320 Infusion Pumps and 150 Syringe Drivers over the duration of this Tender / Contract with an initial purchase of quantities drawn down following Tender Award.
