The Children’s University Hospital would like to invite suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of a managed service solution for the introduction of Newborn Screening for Cystic Fibrosis. within the Newborn Screening Laboratory of the Hospital. The basis of the testing method will be the analysis of Immunoreactive Trypsin (IRT) in dried blood spots. The proposed contract shall be a managed service solution to include provision for IRT test kits, reagents, consumables, equipment and full traceability of dried blood spots throughout the analytical processes (including pre and post). Current service integration and future service development undertaken by the Newborn Screening Department should form part of any reply.
