Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Mass spectrometry facility. The School of Science and Computing at IT Tallaght wishes to purchase a matrix assisted laser desorption-ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF) facility capable of identification of proteins and peptides (proteomics) from biological samples. The purpose of this equipment is the accurate molecular mass determination and identification of proteins, peptides and oligonucleotides, bacterial mass fingerprinting and small molecule identification. Imaging capabilities are desirable. IT Tallaght is using an accelerated restricted procedure for the procurement of this equipment, due to the urgency associated with this contract. Candidates must return their questionnaires by the deadline indicated, including all requested information.
