Provision of Management, Catering, Housekeeping and Security services at accommodation centres. To provide management, catering, housekeeping and security services at centres used to accommodate persons who have applied to the Irish authorities for asylum. The centres specified in the tender are state-owned and the properties will be made available to the successful contractor. The successful contractor will have to put in place all the services and staff required for the day to day running of the centre. All meals will be cooked, prepared and served by the contractor on site in accordance with the principals of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). The meals shall reflect the reasonable needs of different ethnic groups and any infants or children accommodated at the centre. The contractor will oversee the cleaning and laundry facilities at the centres. The contractor will be responsible for all low level internal maintenance at the centre as part of the tender and will be required to put in place schedules for such maintenance. The contractor will be expected to provide the Reception & Integration Agency (RIA) of the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform with weekly lists of residents and to liaise closely with the RIA on all matters relating to the asylum seekers in the centre. The contractor will hold regular meetings with residents to disseminate information and allow residents to raise any issues of concern.
